I’m a Texas girl living in Los Angeles with my two spoiled rotten dogs. I work in the film industry…albeit a
very abstract version of it (not porn, unfortunately) – we do live events, sporting events, concerts, opera, etc. I love hockey, I love football…and will gladly discuss either until you’re sick of me. And obviously I decided the ENTIRE WORLD needed to be sickened. You should be around me when I’m drinking, it’s even worse.
I was born and raised a Cowboys fan and have been a huge Stars fan since they skated into Dallas in 1993. (Check out ‘The Hockey History’ on the menu to learn all about that craziness). I do enjoy basketball and baseball (I’ve even ventured into fantasy baseball for the first time) but ain’t gonna lie to you, I don’t really start paying attention until the latter part of each of their respective seasons. Football, fantasy football and hockey consume the majority of my sports related emotional energy so there’s not much leftover. I take it all way too personally. Marion Barber is my favorite football player – the man is a beast. But I go absolutely girly for Miles Austin – you probably figured that out already. Trevor Daley is my favorite Dallas Star, Jerome Iginla is my favorite not-a-Dallas-Star (but actually used to be…)
Movies are my other passion. I have a shoe addiction, love a good TV show (Friday Night Lights and Mad Men for drama, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and 30 Rock for laughs), know every word to the Canadian national anthem and can drink a ridiculous amount of Malibu or various types of wine. However, tequila is my kryptonite. I will always hate the Eagles and Red Wings. I have a journalism degree with an emphasis in public relations…which just means I am extremely nosy and love a good party.
